New Photo, Video Released Of Suspects Who Robbed Ethiopian Restaurant In Maryland

Fresh photos and video footage has been released of the three men who robbed a Maryland Ethiopian restaurant at gunpoint in December.

The robbery occurred at Shalla Ethiopian Restaurant on the 8000 block of Sligo Avenue in Gaithersburg around 12:20 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 21, Montgomery County Police said.

The men — two of them armed with firearms and one carrying a red bag — entered the restaurant and demanded property from those inside, police said.

The victims complied with the demands of the robbers, who were then seen on surveillance footage leaving in a red/maroon four door sedan.

One of the men is described as heavy-set, wearing a black BMW hooded sweatshirt with black sweatpants and carrying a shotgun, police said.

Another was dressed in all-black clothing, a black jacket and was carrying a long rifle firearm.

The third was wearing black jacket, a white sweatshirt, black pants and a white facemask, police said.
